Nikaah (marriage) is a sacred social contract in Islam, emphasized as one half of a Muslim’s faith by Prophet Muhammad PBUH. As he advised not delaying in three matters, including marriage, we at Azhar Academy Bolton understand its significance.

Before arranging a Nikah, consider:

  1. Mutual consent from the bride and groom.

  2. Presence of two male adult witnesses.

  3. Mahr – a divine injunction, can be paid in cash, property, or movable objects as the marriage-gift to the bride.

Our Marriage Solemnization services include Islamic Nikah certificates. Follow correct procedures by obtaining and submitting forms, available at the Masjid office or via email.

For the Nikah ceremony, a £150 charge applies for non-members and £75 for members. Payment is due after submitting the form.

Stay tuned for upcoming Civil Marriages at Azhar Academy Bolton, offering certificates for both Islamic and Civil Marriages. For inquiries, call 01204 841 876 or use the contact form on the "Contact Us" page.
